Here is the course outline:

1. Introduction

Flexibility is an important component of overall fitness

2. Neck

The seven cervical vertebrae along with associated muscles and ligaments make up the flexible framework of the neck.

3. Shoulders, Back, and Chest

There are five major pairs of movements at the shoulder: (1) flexion and extension, (2) abduction and adduction, (3) external and internal rotation, (4) retraction and protraction, and (5) elevation and depression

4. Arms, Wrists, and Hands

The major joint of the arm, the elbow, is made up of three bones. The humerus (upper arm) is located proximal to the body while the radius and ulna (forearm) lie distally.

5. Lower Trunk

The 12 thoracic vertebrae, 5 lumbar vertebrae, sacrum, ribs, and pelvic bones along with associated muscles and ligaments make up the flexible framework of the trunk.

6. Hips

The pelvic and the femur bones form the skeletal structure in the hip region of the body

7. Knees and Thighs

The skeletal structure of the upper leg and knee is made up of the tibia and fibula (lower leg) and the femur (upper leg).

8. Feet and Calves

The skeletal structure of the lower leg and foot is made up of the long tibia and fibula bones found in the lower leg and the small foot bones called tarsals, metatarsals, and phalanges.

9. Dynamic Stretches

10. Customizing Your Stretching Program

The programs in this chapter can be prescribed for anyone who is interested in improving flexibility, strength, and strength endurance

11. Final Exam

This is your final exam, please answer each question to the best of your knowledge. This exam is not timed, but you do need 80% to pass. You will have 3 attempts to complete. Good Luck
